Academic Degrees

I was born in November, 1975, in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal. In 1998 I obtained my degree (Licenciatura) in Management Informatics (Informática de Gestão) by the University of Minho.

I have been teaching different subjects within the Computing area since October 1998, including Computer Programming, Distributed Systems and Computer Networks.

In 2001 I obtained an MSc at the University of Minho and a PhD degree in 2008. Currently I'm an Invited Assistant at the Department of Information Systems and a member of Ubicomp@Uminho research group.
